President Obama will deliver the 2009 commencement address at the University of Notre Dame. Some Catholics oppose his appearance because of some of Obama's policies.

But in an op-ed for the Miami Herald, alumnus and Newsweek editor Kenneth L. Woodward writes that Obama's appearance is a coup for Notre Dame.
