Sometimes, Filing For Bankruptcy Is Best

Newsweek's Jane Bryant Quinn is going out on a limb. "This year," she writes, she'll "risk [her] good-girl reputation with a subversive idea: go bankrupt in 2009."

But are there better options when you're at the end of your rope? Gail Cunningham, vice president of communications for the National Foundation for Credit Counseling, thinks so.
