The Poisonwood Bible

Reviewer Alan Cheuse says that the new book from novelist Barbara Kingsolver is a sweeping attempt to categorize American imperialism which only succeeds in part. Set in the Belgian Congo in the late 1950s, it's the story of a Georgia preacher who moves his family to Africa. The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver is published by HarperCollins.
