May 23, 2007 - The Pulsar Triyo is a jazz group offering surprising interpretations of top-40 pop songs like Britney's "Toxic" and Tiffany's "I Think We're Alone Now." Their CD, Wait No More also includes some ambitious original tunes. The trio from North Carolina draws on a broad range of influences, including Brad Mehldau and the Bad Plus.

The Pulsar Triyo features Pulsar Li on piano, Eric Bishop on drums and Adam Lord on bass. Li and Bishop met as members of the Duke University Jazz Ensemble. Lord joined the group in 2005.

The Pulsar Triyo says they "aim to make your stay an enjoyable one by keeping inventive music on the top of (their) to-do list."

The featured track from their CD Wait No More is "I Think We're Alone Now," made famous by the '80s pop star Tiffany.
