Preston Falls

The second work of fiction by Newsweek magazine writer David Gates is called Preston Falls. Our reviewer, Alan Cheuse, says it's the most gripping account of a family falling apart that he's read since John Updike's Rabbit, Run. (STATIONS: "Preston Falls" by David Gates is published by Knopf.)
