Journalist and fiction writer Martha Gellhorn has died at her home in London at age 89. The American-born writer covered the Spanish Civil War, World War Two, the Korean War, Vietnam and other conflicts. Her approach was to reach the people on the ground and paint journalistic portraits of their plight. We hear some excerpts from her writings and from her longtime friend, British journalist John Pilger. He says she didn't believe in traditional "objective" journalism. She had a strong sense of moral outrage and justice.
