Mossad Resignation

NPR's Linda Gradstein reports that the head of Mossad, Israel's intelligence agency, resigned in the aftermath of a scandal caused by an agent's failed assassination attempt against a Palestinian Islamic leader in Jordan. The bungled assassination five months ago led to the incarceration of two Mossad agents in Jordan and the souring of Jordanian-Israeli relations.
