Scott Horsley from KPBS in San Diego reports on home foreclosures in California. The number of foreclosures this year is likely to be at an all-time record high. While the improving economy is bringing real estate values up, thousands of Californians will lose their homes in the next year to foreclosure. Ironically, in some cases, the improved real estate market makes it more appealing for lenders to foreclose on a delinquent property because they know they'll be able to sell it for a better price.
