Greenhouse Gases

The federal government is reporting that emissions of greenhouse gases rose significantly in the United States last year. NPR's Christopher Joyce takes a look at the forces behind the rise — Americans are using more coal and less gas. And the strong economy has triggered increased consumption of all sorts of goods, including gasoline.
