NPR's Mandalit Del Barco reports on a multi-million dollar settlement in the case involving dozens of Thai and Latino workers held and forced to work in sweatshops. Raids, by federal and state agents in 1995, exposed appalling conditions -- workers were forced to stay in compounds, working 20 hours a day for less than one dollar an hour. (4:00) 12
