The Justice Department said today it will not bring criminal charges against senior FBI officials in connection with the 1992 Ruby Ridge incident. The FBI had laid siege to a white supremacist cabin in Idaho, trying to force him to surrender to face firearms charges. FBI snipers killed the man's wife. His son and a US marshal also were killed. The Justice Department has decided not to charge officials who supervised the operation from Washington. NPR's Chitra Ragavan reports.
