Ecumenism

Linda talks with Martin Marty of the University of Chicago Divinity School, Bishop Darlis Swann of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America's Ecumenical Affairs Office, and Brother Geoffrey Gros (GROH), from the Ecumenical and Inter-religious Affairs Secretariat of the National Conference of Catholic Bishops. They discuss the ecumenical movement in many of the nation's Christian Churches, and the importance of today's decision by Evangelical Lutherans to enter into full communion with three Reformed churches. This ends a split that had lasted hundreds of years.
