U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Dan Glickman announced today that Hudson Foods, the company which owns a Nebraska meatpacking plant suspected of producing food tainted with the E.Coli (ee-KOH-lye) bacterium, has decided to recall and destroy all hamburger patties that have been processed at the Columbus, Nebraska plant, and to temporarily shut its doors.
