Nk Missile Talks

NPR's Ted Clark reports that North Korea cancelled talks on missile proliferation with the United States that were slated for today in New York. This follows the defection of two senior diplomats to the United States. State Department officials say they are assuming that North Korea will still participate in talks scheduled for September to determine the future of the Korean Peninsula.
