Hca Resignation

NPR's Joanne Silberner reports on the surprise resignation today of top officials of Columbia H-C-A, the nation's largest for-profit hospital chain. The move came a week after a federal probe into the company's business practices was expanded into seven more states. Columbia's stock rose on word of the firings.
