Ups

NPR's Joshua Levs reports from Atlanta that businesses across the country are scrambling to find other ways to ship packages in case of a strike against United Parcel Service. 190,000 UPS employees represented by the Teamsters Union will walk out at midnight eastern time if the two sides don't agree on a new contract. The Teamsters have rejected what the company described as its final offer, but both sides have indicated they are willing to continue talking before tonight's deadline.
