Nasa & Mir

NPR's Christopher Joyce reports that NASA is allowing U.S. astronaut Michael Foale (FOHL) to continue training for a spacewalk to repair the troubled Russian space station Mir. But they have not given a final go-ahead for U.S. participation in the repair mission. More problems arose today when astronauts accidently pulled out a crucial power plug. Power is returning slowly and officials in both countries say the space travelers are out of danger.
