Agreeing On A Tax Bill

House and Senate Republicans say they are almost ready to send a final version of their tax bill to the White House for negotiations. But it is expected to include some elements President Clinton is strongly opposed to, including a limit on the proposed child tax credit for families receiving the Earned Income Tax Credit, and the indexing of capital gains. Meanwhile, House Republicans are still trying to patch up their leadership problems. NPR's Brian Naylor reports.
