Title Ix: Sports

NPR's Tom Goldman reports that President Clinton marked the 25th anniversary of the Title IX anti-discrimination statute by announcing a plan to step up enforcement of the measure. The president closed a loophole that had allowed some federally-run schools to avoid compliance, and told all federal agencies to submit a plan aimed at strengthening the measure.
