Hong Kong Negotiator

Ray talks with Lord Geoffrey Howe, the former British Secretary of State who negotiated the Sino-British Agreement on Hong Kong in 1984. They discuss the upcoming British handover of the colony of Hong Kong to China on June 30th. They discuss efforts to force China to democratize its policies, and the effect the changeover could have on Hong Kong, both economically and socially.
