Flinn News

Barbara Bardley reports on the decision made by Air Force Secretary Sheila Widnall to not grant Lt. Kelly Flinn a honorable discharge from the United States Air Force. There had been controversy all week on Capitol Hill about how the military was going to handle Flinn's case, with allegations that Flinn was being more severely punished for her behavior than men in comparable situations. The Secretary announced today that Flinn would be given a general discharge and would not have to undergo court martial.
