Defense Opens

NPR's Wade Goodwyn reports on testimony today as the defense begins its case in the trial of Timothy McVeigh. McVeigh's lawyers began by trying to cast a key portion of the prosecution's case in doubt...that McVeigh rented the Ryder truck containing the explosives that destroyed the Alfred Murrah federal building two days before the blast...and by trying to build the case that "the real bomber" died in the explosion.
