Kabila Kabinet

NPR's Michael Skoler reports on the interim government in the Democratic Republic of Congo set up by Laurent Kabila. Kabila has named himself president, given the top cabinet posts to his allies, and excluded Etienne Tchisekedi (eh-tee-YEN chis-seh-KAY-dee), the country's most prominent anti-Mobutu politician, from the government. Today Tshisekedi said he does not recognize the new government, and some of his supporters demonstrated in the streets of the capital.
