Paula Jones

A unanimous Supreme Court ruled today that Paula Jones's sexual harassment lawsuit against President Clinton does not have to be deferred until he leaves office in 2001. The high court rejected the argument that the president enjoys temporary immunity from civil lawsuits seeking damages for events that occurred before taking office. NPR's Nina Totenberg reports.
