French Elections

NPR's Michael Goldfarb reports from France, where voters go to the polls Sunday for round two of the parliamentary elections. Last Sunday in the first round, the ruling center-right Gaullist coalition lost its 400-seat majority in the National Assembly. Going into this next round the left-wing coaition, led by the Socialist Party, is ahead in the polls.
