Rob Long considers himself a loyal Republican, despite the party's current struggle to redefine itself. Long is a veteran television writer and producer who was co-executive producer of Cheers as well as a contributor and consultant to many other series.

Host Scott Simon talks with Long about what it means to be a Republican these days, and whether one can disagree with the party and still be considered loyal.
