House Funding

The House voted today to pay for a probe of President Clinton's fundraising for his reelection campaign. The investigating committee is getting 3-point-8 million dollars, plus access to nearly 8 million more dollars in discretionary funds. Democrats complain that the probe is focused only on the president's fundraising, and should include Republican campaigns, including congressional campaigns. NPR's Brian Naylor reports.
