Gore Visit

NPR's Mary Kay Magistad reports that Vice President Al Gore today welcomed lucrative new contracts between China and two American firms despite the administration's sensitivity over its relationship with Beijing. Gore proceeded with a scheduled trip to Beijing as investigators looked into allegations that Beijing tried to channel money into Democratic campaigns.
