Ca Campaign Reform

Last year, California voters passed proposition 208, intended to stem the influence of big money in state politics. The law was intended to limit contributions and shorten the fundraising season, but as NPR's Elaine Korry reports, lobbyists and interest groups are already finding a number of ways to exert their influence without violating the law.
