NPR's Wade Goodwyn takes us to "The Embassy" - a compound in the West Texas mountains that is the headquarters of a new militia group. The Republic of Texas group believes that Texas should be an independent nation. While the group is armed, it uses the courts to fight its battles...filing liens and writing checks that aren't cashable.
