This week, President Obama reversed course on a couple of decisions and ended up in a sea of criticism; House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also faced harsh comments on what she knew about the use of waterboarding during the Bush administration and an American journalist is freed from an Iranian prison while a trial date is set for two journalists being held in North Korea.

Host Scott Simon reviews the week's news with NPR Senior News Analyst Daniel Schorr.
