Thousands Of Car Dealerships Prepare To Close

General Motors announced Friday that it will slash dealerships by nearly 20 percent, closing some 1,100 sales outlets. The move comes a day after Chrysler announced its own plans to close hundreds of dealerships.

And then, New Hampshire Public Radio's David Darman visits a New England town that once had five dealerships. After this week, Peterborough, N.H., has none.
