Four men arrested in an alleged terrorist plot are scheduled to appear in federal court Thursday. Authorities say the men planned to set off a bomb outside a Jewish temple and shoot military planes with guided missiles.

Here's another story we're following this morning. Four men are in jail after an alleged plot to bomb Jewish synagogues and other targets. The FBI says these men wanted to commit those acts, and FBI informants supplied them with fake explosives. Their alleged targets in New York City have been identified as the Riverdale Jewish Center and Riverdale Temple.

The men are from Newberg in upstate New York. They live near a New York Air National Guard Base, and authorities contend the men also wanted to shoot down military planes with surface-to-air missiles.
