NPR's Kathy Lohr reports on tomorrow's special election in Georgia's sixth Congressional District for the House seat left vacant when Newt Gingrich resigned at the end of the year. The leading candidate is Johnny Isakson, a businessman who served seventeen years in the state legislature. His closest challenger is Christina Jeffrey, a political science professor at Kennesaw State University. The district is strongly Republican and includes the northern suburbs of Atlanta.
