Liane speaks with NASA engineer and author, Homer Hickam, Junior, and director Joe Johnston about the newly-released film, October Sky (Universal). The story, based on his book Rocket Boys (Delacorte Press), is the autobiographical account of Hickam's journey from the mining town of Coalwood, West Virginia all the way to NASA, where he helped design the shuttle and worked on the Hubble telescope. Hickam was 14 years old when the Soviets launched the first satellite Sputnik in 1957.
