NPR Alex Chadwick reports on the final expedition of British army officer Sir Percy Fawcett. He was hired to help survey the boundaries between Peru, Bolivia and Chile. In 1925, Fawcett set out to find a lost city and its fabled treasure of gold. Fawcett's party, including his 21-year-old son and his son's classmate, disappeared in the Brazilian jungle and were never seen again.
