European Union Scandal

Host Bob Edwards talks with Martin Walker, a reporter for the UK's Guardian newspaper (based in Brussels), about the resignation of the entire twenty-member executive commission of the European Union following allegations of fraud, bribery and cronyism. The commission is the executive body of the 15-nation European Union. The mass resignation was triggered by yesterday's release of an independent report, accusing the commission of widespread fraud corruption and mismanagement over several years.
