Non-lethal Weapons

NPR's Eric Westervelt reports on new non-lethal crime-fighting technology for police officers. New weapons include a gun that shoots small sand bags and another that uses electricity to disable perpetrators. However, cost of adopting the new technology remains an obstacle for many police departments.
