Russian Politics

NPR Michele Kelemen reports that Russia's prosecutor general Yuri Skuratov (skoo-RAH-tof), who resigned last month, has created new political problems for president Boris Yeltsin by alleging that his resignation was forced. Skuratov is accusing Yeltsin, who today left a Moscow hospital, of failing to support his investigations into high-level corruption.
