Nuclear Materials

NPR's Dan Charles reports on efforts by the International Atomic Energy Agency to monitor the creation and transport of two radioactive elements. Neptunium and Americium do not occur in nature — they're only produced inside nuclear reactors. Some members of the agency worry that rogue nations could use the materials to make nuclear weapons.
