NPR's Pam Fessler reports on the political issues surrounding next year's census. The debate over statistical sampling that began last year continues. As part of a compromise solution, Congress had funded the Census Bureau until June 15th. Now both time and money are running out and many are alarmed by reports that the Census may request an additional two billion dollars to complete its task.
