Nato - Kosovo

Sarah Chayes reports from Brussels, the site of NATO headquarters, that allied warplanes are racing to cripple the capacity of the Yugoslav military to make war on Kosovo Albanians. NATO leaders, meantime, are expressing alarm at the plight of huge numbers of Kosovars fleeing the Yugoslav offensive. And at alliance headquarters today, a spokesman reported that five prominent ethnic Albanian intellectuals had been executed.
