Methodist Church Trial

NPR's Cheryl Corley reports from Chicago that a church trial begins today for a United Methodist Minister who presided over a marriage-like ceremony for two gay men in his congregation. Gregory Dell, the minister at Chicago's Broadway United Methodist Church, performed what he calls a 'holy union' for the men, just a month after the United Methodist Church ruled that a ban on such ceremonies is church law, not merely a guideline.
