Goldberg Variations

Robert talks with Rosalyn Tureck, a Bach scholar and a world famous performer of his music. On a new compact disc, she performs the famous Goldberg variations. Thirty variations and an aria that is often said to be the most important and beautiful work for the keyboard. Her performance is much longer than most, she plays the repeats as she believes Bach intended. the disc also doubles as a cd rom, allowing the user to follow along with rosalyn Tureck's performance on a pc. The cd is called the Goldberg Variations by Rosalyn Tureck on the Deutsche Grammophon label.
