Senor Wences Obituary

Senor Wences, a master ventriloquist whose act, using painted faces on his hands for puppets, won him national fame, died today in his New York City apartment at the age of 103. Wences, whose real name was Wenceslao Moreno, was originally from Spain. He was known for his appearances on the "Ed Sullivan Show." (2:00) The music heard here is "Circus echoes" by A.W.
