Kosovo - Military

NPR's Sarah Chayes reports six more Apache helicopters arrived at Tirana airport in Albania today, along with rocket launchers and armored personnel carriers. NATO officials say the latest arrivals bring the number of low-flying Apaches in the region to 24. They also say the squadron is ready to go into action against Serb forces but won't give a date. Apaches are able to hit tanks and concentrations of troops on the ground, but they're also vulnerable to anti-aircraft fire.
