Kosovo - Us/Russia

NPR's Michele Kelemen reports that US Deputy Secretary of State Strobe Talbott held talks on the Kosovo crisis in Moscow today with Russian officials. Russia has been a bitter critic of NATO's air campaign against Yugoslavia. Nevertheless, the alliance wants Russia to use its influence to persuade Yugoslav president Slobodan Milosevic to halt his attacks on Kosovar Albanians and accept an international peace force in Kosovo.
