Gay Murder Trial Sentencing

NPR's Mark Roberts reports from Laramie, Wyoming, that one of two defendants in the beating death of gay University of Wyoming student Matthew Shepard pleaded guilty yesterday to felony murder and was sentenced to two consecutive life terms in prison. By plea-bargaining, 21-year-old Russell Henderson avoided the possibility of receiving the death sentence.
