Rep. Bud Shuster

NPR's Peter Overby reports that Pennsylvania Congressman Bud Shuster has maintained his popularity at home and influence in Washington despite continuing investigations of alleged corruption. While federal investigators and the House Ethics Committee scrutinize his dealings with lobbyists, Shuster has used his position as Chairman of the House Transportation Committee to bring federal highway projects to his district.
