Reservists Called Up

Jerome Vaughn of member station WDET in Detroit reports that 59 members of the Michigan Air Force Reserves have been called up for active duty in the Balkans. They are members of the 927th Refueling Wing of the Air Force Reserve and are attached to the Selfridge Air National Guard Base, north of Detroit. They are among the first 21-hundred reservists from eight states to be mobilized to support the NATO military campaign against Yugoslavia.
